us "how much is the airfare". We don't know...and neither does
anyone else. You probably already know that airfare changes
from airline to airline, day to day, and hour to hour. If
you have flown before, you already know the first question you're asked
is "what is your travel date"?
You need to make your
hotel reservations first- so you will have a travel date to book your
airfare!

companion's ticket will be
FREE!
There is no listed minimum cost for the first ticket. Travel throughout the
Bahamas, Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Europe and beyond!
1.
What Airlines? This pass
works with all major airlines & all major or international
airports.
You first select your destination & preferred dates of travel,
& the reservation center will give you a listing of available
airlines, flights & itineraries to choose from. You
depart from YOUR city. If you live in a small town, you
depart from the larger city closest to you with a major
airport.
2. How does this work?
If you and a companion are planning to travel by plane, rather than buy
TWO full price round trip tickets, this voucher allows you to purchase
just one full fare ticket, and get the 2nd ticket at no additional cost
for the same flight.
3. How
much is the first ticket?
Prices for the first ticket tend to be an average of
pricing you may find online. If you are not using a MAJOR
airport
(defined as an airport
that services 5 or more airlines),
pricing may be on the higher side of the average for smaller
airports. The Cruise Store has NO control & makes NO
guarantees for any airline or vendor pricing.
4. Can I give you a flight # to look up?
To use this voucher this
process must be followed. Once you have your Reservation
forms, let the travel center know WHERE you would like to go,
and what dates you prefer to travel. Based on this
information, they will find available flights for you to
choose from among all
available major airlines. You may then select your
preferred itinerary from there. You may certainly request a
particular airline if you have a preference,
but flight
selection is ultimately based on availability.
5. How
soon can I book? The travel center requires a minimum
of 30 days advance notice, but we STRONGLY recommend 45 - 60
days. The more flexible you can be with dates and times, the
more choices you will have, as finalizing booking may take
several additional days to complete.
6. When
will it expire? The Companion Airfare
will not expire until 1 year after YOU register it online.
This voucher can easily be "re-activated" after that time by
submitting a $20 fee - so essentially these do not expire.
This is fully transferable before it is registered online.
7. Can I use my 2nd Free Ticket at another time? No, to use the free ticket, both guests must travel together
at the same time, and itineraries must be identical.
8. Are
there Blackout dates? There are NO blackout
dates listed for this offer. Availability is strictly first
come, first serve however, so holiday seasons should be booked
as much in advance as possible. With the
Companion Airfare
voucher, a Saturday night stay in your arrival destination
required, & some destinations may require a Friday overnight
stay.
9. Is
there
any kind of sales pitch needed
to use this? NO!
10. Can I look up specific
flights or dates before I buy?
Availability is first come first serve & changes very
rapidly. Because of the nature and popularity of these
offers, this can only booked using our vendors travel center,
not through the airline directly. Our vendors have
special relationships & programs with airlines that you cannot
find by calling airlines direct.
Once you receive your voucher forms in the mail you may
contact the travel department to book in detail.
Our travel department always does their best to accommodate your travel dates
and wishes, but whenever possible, it does help if there is
some flexibility in your itinerary. The BEST part is, if you
decide not to use the voucher for your upcoming trip, you most
certainly can use it another time!
11. Are these Stand By or Buddy
Passes?
NO! These are actual
seated tickets! All reservations are electronically ticketed
and will come to you via email in the exact same format as if
you purchased online from the airlines.
Please Notice:
Companion airfare is
complimentary, and you are under no obligation to use it. You
may book your own airfare, fly your own plane, or find your
own way to your destination in any manner you choose.
You may even use the companion airfare for another getaway- it
doesn't have to be one of our getaways.
There
is a
$25 fee for
processing, postage and handling to receive your reservation
form. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.
A $9.95 ticketing fee
applies to all tickets issued and all reservations are
electronically ticketed.
We
are not giving you airfare. We’re giving you a voucher that
“entitles” you to purchase “2 for 1” or companion airfare.
If
you’ve ever been on a plane, you may already know that no 2 people on
the plane boarding at the same airport, and disembarking at the same
airport are paying the same fare. Perhaps 2 people traveling together
who purchased their airfare at the same time is the exception.
There are also differences in airfare depending on which airport you
fly from, whether you take a “red-eye” or some other flight and other
instances. All we’re trying to say is that some people are
ecstatic with their savings, and others are disappointed. So it’s up
to you how you “fare” with the voucher.
